Hands-on Workshop: Intro to Ethereum Programming


Bootstrap your skills in building end-to-end decentralized applications on Ethereum. The workshop is FREE, but since we have limited space you’ll have to apply below. We’ll try to select the most creative technologists :)

The workshop will host about 20 people and is roughly 4 hours, with additional time to socialize and discuss advanced topics. You must bring a laptop. Bring some cash for a shared pizza order.

We are:

  • Peter and Viktor, pragmatic technology entrepreneurs
  • eager to share what we have learned so far
  • interested in meeting like-minded creative technologists

You should have:

  • a desire to build your own decentralized apps
  • at least intermediate programming skills (e.g. basic data structures, JavaScript, web development foundations)
  • a keen interest in understanding blockchains and cryptocurrencies

Viktor Szathmáry

Viktor is an entrepreneur and software developer. He's been in the software business since 1997, working on startups ranging from community platforms to stock trading systems and e-commerce. He's a co-founder of EU Edge, a boutique software consulting firm, and Scarab Research, a recommender systems company, acquired by Emarsys in 2017. He can also be found playing drums at jam session nights in Budapest.

Péter Petrovics

Peter is a serial entrepreneur with 20+ years technical, management and financial experience. He ran his own software house for nine years, managed tons of software projects and launched several successful startups, including Hungary's largest social network before Facebook. He is currently busy working on Digital Credit Money, a new stable cryptocurrency concept.
